I think for some of them the before pictures are particularly terrible to make the effect of make-up on beauty seem more pronounced.

Sooo... if people put a bunch of colored stuff over their faces and then get the lighting perfectly and pose a certain way they can look very....different.

To be honest I think i'm just not a big fan of stripper makeup. Some of those non made up photos are really terrible though.
